Alison Wonderland, Subtronics, Lane 8, Cloone, Liquid Stranger, LF System, TroyBoi, and more are set to play Deep Tropics this August.

Deep Tropics returns to Bicentennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee, from August 15-16 for its seventh edition. Dubbed the greenest festival in North America, the sustainability-driven event prides itself on being zero-waste and climate-positive. Achieving a diversion rate of 87% in 2024 sets the bar for the festival industry to create sustainable, innovative events. Beyond their eco-efforts, Deep Tropics consistently brings plenty of talented artists to the stage, and this year is shaping up to be no different after the first wave of the lineup was revealed.

The Meru stage caters to the house music crowd and includes a special sunset set from Lane 8, a closing set from Cloonee, and a DJ set from Aluna. Other can’t-miss sets from artists like Chris Lorenzo, Disco Lines, LF System, Ash Lauryn, Merchant, and Sinca, among others, will also grace that stage this summer.

Meanwhile, bass music fans will want to set up camp at the Lotus stage, where they can catch sets from trap powerhouses Alison Wonderland and TroyBoi, dubstep heavyweights Subtronics and Liquid Stranger, LYNY, HEYZ, and more. One set bassheads won’t want to miss is the UK-based trio Gentlemens Club, known for their high-energy sets that masterfully blend many subgenres from dubstep and drum and bass to trap and more.

The Congo stage is a 360 set-up that will host some of the hottest artists in the scene right now, such as Riordan, Ranger Trucco, Dusky, Will Clarke, Icarus, and Sam WOLFE. That stage is also slated to showcase performances from QDP feat. Daddy Pop b2b Girl Friday b2b J. Howard, Afrosheen, Stallings, Fiera, Hotboxx b2b Arht, Squuid, and more.

Beyond the music, the Deep Culture Speakeasy will be home to many interactive workshops led by artists and hosted by electronic artist and activist Madame Gandhi. Fans looking to escape the heat can venture to the Speakeasy and enter an air-conditioned tent to participate in workshops exploring themes such as mental health, consent, equity and inclusion, community and connection, regenerative culture, and more.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 11 at 10am CST via SeeTickets, so set your alarms and secure your tickets early to step into Deep Tropics’ tropical oasis this summer. This is only the first phase of the lineup, so follow the festival on Instagram to stay in the know on future additions.

Jaclyn Sersland

Jaclyn’s journey as a raver began in 2022, but her obsession with music dates back to her middle school days as an angsty emo kid. A firm believer in the emo to raver pipeline, she has found a strong sense of community in the rave scene united by a common ethos of PLUR and a shared love for heavy basslines. A longtime writer and now Master’s in Journalism student at Georgetown University, Jaclyn is passionate about using her voice to spotlight the EDM scene. In particular, she enjoys writing about drum and bass, the number 1 favorite genre of hers, although her music taste spans wide so you will catch her byline on many types of stories. Her favorite artists are Andromedik, Sub Focus, Dimension, GRiZ, Oliverse, Illenium, Grabbitz, Zedd, Basstripper, Subsonic, and more.
